Meet the Chocolay Board of Trustees – 50/50

The 2008-2012 Chocolay Township Board of Trustees is comprised of the elected positions of Supervisor, Treasurer and Clerk. There are four others elected as trustees. Of the six, aside from the Supervisor, the 2010 Board has three members who are participatory and productive at the meetings and the other three could phone in the vote when a motion is on the floor or be replaced by a potted plant. Do you want a part-time job in 2012 that requires nothing of you except to collect $60 per meeting? Then start planning your campaign for 2012. . . . → Read More: Meet the Chocolay Board of Trustees – 50/50

Meet the 2010-2012 Planning Commission

The Planning Commission (PC) has seven members. One is a member of the Board of Trustees who is the liaison to the PC and the other six are appointed by vote of the Board of Trustees (BoT) upon nomination by the Township Supervisor. Read this post to learn their names and how effective they are on behalf of the township. Don’t want to wait for the final total? It comes down to having two members who are very involved and are effective, two new members appointed in May 2010 who have a grace period, two people who could be replaced by anybody’s potted plant, and one who seems to blurt out the first thing that comes to mind and whose logic and grasp of the big picture is deficient. . . . → Read More: Meet the 2010-2012 Planning Commission

Repair And Re-Surface Roads ASAP

The premise here is that the road millage should be renewed in 2012 and the repair, re-surfacing and maintenance of the township’s roads should not be delayed.

Roads Don't Heal Themselves

It is unfortunate but once again some of the BoT are being exceedingly disingenuous with the voters.  Treasurer Greenberg is tricky with the dollars and if you . . . → Read More: Repair And Re-Surface Roads ASAP
